Wanna Know How I Made My Peacock Costume??

Picture
To make an awesome peacock costume you will need:
1.  Peacock feathers
2.  A hot glue gun
3.  A stiff piece of felt (a peacocky color)
4.  Your creativity
You first start by aligning the feathers from the center out on half of the piece of felt.  You will want the feathers to be angled out so that it looks more like a half circle.  You will want to cut the ends of the feathers to make them fit 'cuz it gets confusing if the feathers are all over the place.  Once you have the main layer set out, glue them to the felt.  After that's done you can start layering more feathers on top randomly.  Fold the other half of the felt over and glue it there.  To attach the feathers to yourself you can put a belt through the piece of felt.  I just covered mine with some shiny blue fabric.  I also wore a blue unitard from www.welovecolors.com (on links page) and a sparkly skirt.

How about an awesome JELLYFISH costume!?

Picture
You will need:

1.  An umbrella, in this case it is a red umbrella hat so it is easier to carry
2.  A sheer material to cover the umbrella
3.  Bubble wrap
4.  Glow sticks
5.  Hot-glue-gun

To start you just ned to glue the fabric to the umbrella loosely and a little bit folded so it looks almost messed up.  As you fold it under the edge of the umbrella stick some glow sticks in so it glows underneath.  Cut out some uneven strips of fabric and bubble wrap and ribbon or whatever you would like, and glue them to th edges of the umbrella.  To make it even more awesome you can add more glow sticks to the tenticles.  Be creative, it's a very simple costume, which leaves room to add your own touch.
